The Neighborhood

This is the Cenci. It's where all the RISD kids in the European Honors Program stay from January until June. It is a fourteenth century palazzo, and is gorgeous! It is constructed from travertine inside and out, and so beautifully Italian.

Nasone, Rome's unique public drinking fountains, are constantly running, bringing fresh water from the Apeninne Mountains. Rome has some of the cleanest water in the world. These fountains are much more sanitary than those found in America... Even I drink from them!

Our teachers showed us this breathtaking view of Rome on the way back from the Fiumicino Airport.
